Man’s search for meaning – Viktor Frankl

I highly recommend this book, it was written by a famous psychiatrist during the holocaust as a POW. It may be take a while to finish the book, only because you don’t want to miss the wisdom that is embedded within the pages. His insight was amazing, I really enjoyed it!

Just to give you a taster of what he wrote:

” Everything can be taken from a man or woman but one thing; the last of human freedoms to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

Me before you – Jojo Moyes

This is a story about how people cope with chronic disabilities, be it the person suffering from the illness, the caretaker, or family members. Although it is a fictional story, it is insightful and definitely a good read. Not a sad one, it’s actually funny and enjoyable! Try it, good vacation read. Not too heavy but gives you something to think about.

Intro

I love books, if I can choose my house would look like a library. These days I read mostly parenting books but of course this is not affliated to Oprah’s book club. So, the reviews that I will post here will naturally be books of my choice. I can assure you that you will find something that amuse or interest you. If there are good recommendations, do feel free to let me know!
